Lion Form — International Road Transport Management Platform
Lion Form is an integrated platform for international road-haulage companies and their provincial trade associations, built for Lion Company. CMR consignment notes, fleet and driver management, vehicle inquiry, violations and suspensions, invoicing and financial reports all live in one Persian (RTL) desktop application backed by a secure multi-tenant API.
International hauliers issue a CMR consignment note for every trip and have to track their fleet, drivers, documents and debts; each province's trade association supervises its member companies, records violations, suspends vehicles or drivers and pulls reports. Before this project most of that work was done on paper, in scattered Excel files or in separate programs.
The system has three tiers and three kinds of user. The company portal issues and prints CMRs with a drag-and-drop form designer and autocomplete from earlier CMRs, and manages vehicles, trailers and drivers, owner and driver invoices and fleet reports. The association portal supervises member companies, runs nationwide vehicle inquiries (debt, violations, suspension), records violations and suspensions, approves out-of-province plates, reviews documents and produces basic and financial reports. The admin portal manages users and permissions, licences, server and error monitoring, user support and update scheduling.
Tenant data is isolated by scoping every query to the caller's company or association, and an HTTP test with 56 checks proves that no ID leaks to another tenant. Performance was measured on a dataset 40× the real data (about 400k waybills and 63k vehicles), adding scoped indexes, response compression and per-user rate limiting. A separate licence server signs activation tokens with RSA, and the client stores them with Windows DPAPI. Automatic migrations were rehearsed on a 443 MB database.
The client ships through ClickOnce with auto-update; the services run on Linux behind Nginx and systemd, and the deployment script does checksums, backups, health checks and automatic rollback. Quality is guarded by a server smoke test (47 scenarios), tenant-isolation HTTP tests and more than 500 automated UI checks.
